The Ark is a flexible and portable speaker system that consists of a detachable subwoofer bass station and a sound bar named Cruze. The base station measures 11.8 x 5.7 x 6.7 inches, and the sound bar is 7.9 x 2.6 x 2.4 inches. As we can see from the images, the wireless speaker system features an eye-catching blend of geometric aesthetics and arc-shaped surfaces, and its portable design allows you to deploy the speaker anywhere in your house.
The Cruze sound bar works as a portable Bluetooth speaker. It features two speaker drivers and passive radiators in order to produce rich and uncompromising audio in the compact body, and built-in rechargeable battery offers up to 8 hours of audio playback. Moreover, its built-in microphone allows you to make or receive handsfree calls, and its NFC chip allows it to more easily paired with your NFC-enabled smartphone.
More importantly, the Art also features a uniquely designed bass station that syncs with the Cruze sound bar. Using its 3.5″ circular subwoofer and custom designed port, the bass station works as a supplement to enhance the Cruze’s audio playback and delver rich bass, and you can use multiple bass stations in your room to form a more powerful speaker system. In addition, Qi wireless charging has been housed in the bass station. When docked on the station, your sound bar can be charged wirelessly.
The crowdfunding campaign for the Ark is ongoing on Kickstarter. You can pledge $141 to preorder the bass station and portable Bluetooth speaker.
