The Chris is an innovative and advanced Bluetooth-enabled smart assistant for drivers. The smart device measures 3.9 x 3.6 x 3.8 inches, weighs 6.4 oz. As we can see from the images, the Chris shows off a sleek, rounded appearance design, its compact form factor allows it to be attached on the windshield or the dashboard with ease while its aluminum ring provides a durable construction.
Using built-in Bluetooth technology, the smart device wirelessly communicates with your smartphone and the speaker system in your car. The Chris is a no touch device so you don’t worry about it affecting your driving, but using advanced speech recognition and simple gesture control, the smart assistant lets you effortlessly interact with your smartphone, for instance, you can listen, reply or start new conversations, make handsfree calls, control your music playback, and etc.
Furthermore, the Chris comes equipped with a 3.2″ TFT LCD color display that shows info from Facebook, WhatsApp, Email, SMS, Spotify, Apple Music, Google Music, and more. Meanwhile, the smart device also helps you find the best route and displays real-time route and traffic info. Apart from these, built-in rechargeable battery offers up to one week of battery life between charges.
The crowdfunding campaign for Chris is on going on Kickstarter. Pledging €179 (approx US$194) will let you own the smart assistant. It will be shipped in December this year (estimated).
