A teardrop camping trailer will set you back several thousand dollars, but if you have some DIY skills, you can also build your own teardrop trailer by yourself for a great trip.
Engineer Allen, a member from instructables created the sleek and practical teardrop camping trailer for a long trip across the USA. The maker used a 6′ x 12′ trailer costing $2,500 to hold the homemade camper measuring 71-1/2″ wide by 108″ long by 60″ high and weighting less than 400 lbs (empty), and the camper was built with plywood, cheery boards and aluminum sheets, and all parts were glued and screwed for a durable construction.
Furthermore, the homemade teardrop trailer features a versatile rear gallery that deliver enough drawers, shelves and space to accommodate all necessary essentials for a long trip like water tank, tools, stove and more. Inside there are several cabinets for your clothes and important items. The engineer has posted detailed steps for the teardrop trailer. If you want to build it by yourself, head to instructables for the more details. BTW, also don’t miss the LEGO camping trailer and more cool stuff by following tags.
