Brent Blake’s Electric Chess Set

Apparently this is a milestone for us. The electric chess set is the first chess set introduced by us. Fortunately it’s an unique chess set for sure.

Don’t think about that these colorful light bulbs are just common bulbs. Once turned on, these bulbs will become real chess set pieces. Of course, you must remember red is the queen, white is the king. Brent Blake, an American architect, design consultant and competitive chess player utilized plug bases, sockets, bulbs and ceramic elements to build the impressive “electric chess set”. As we have seen, the chessboard is constructed of numerous live sockets. Even those taken pieces can illuminate through four lines of additional sockets.

No doubt, when you are playing chess, the electric chess set will make the atmosphere electric. By the way, don’t directly touch the lighting bulbs. You know what will happen.
