BlackBerry has also announced a new smartphone at MWC 2015 – BlackBerry Leap. If you don’t care about lacking physical keyboard, the mid-range BlackBerry smartphone may draw your eye.
BlackBerry Leap is a high-performance mid-range smartphone that measures 144 x 72.8 x 9.5mm and weights 170g. The smartphone runs BlackBerry 10 OS and is powered by Qualcomm MSM 8960 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM and microSD slot for up to 128GB expandable storage in order to deliver you high performance and abundant storage. Moreover, the handset comes equipped with 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera and 2-megapixel fixed-focus front-facing camera for capturing clear and sharp images or making video calls. Unlike previous BlackBerry Classic, the Leap has no physical keyboard, but its touchscreen keyboard still provides a comfortable typing experience, and its BlackBerry Assistant lets you manage your email, contacts, calendar and other functions via your voice and text commands. Apart from that, other features also include 5″ HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and 294ppi pixel density, Bluetooth 4.0, LTE, and 2800mAh non-removable rechargeable battery offering up to 25-hour battery life.
