Need a handy way to add some propulsion to your favorite water sports like SUP, diving and kayaking? Take a look at Bixpy Jet, the portable modular electric water jet propulsion system may be an ideal solution.
Appearance design
The Bixpy Jet is an easy-to-use, modular electric water jet that measures 11 inches in length and weighs 2 lbs. As we can see from the images, the water jet looks pretty like a small bomb, and the streamlined design makes it be able to fight against the resistance in the water. Meanwhile, the portable design allows you to easily store it in your backpack for any adventure.
Function features
As a modular water jet, the Bixpy Jet features multiple optional adapters for SUP, rudder, inflatable and more. Using these adapters, you can easily attach the water jet under your SUP, on the back of your kayak, or just hold your hand for diving. Using its built-in brushless motor, the water jet is capable of generating enough power to push a kayak up to 7 mph or a diver up to 2.5 mph.
The handheld battery pack for diving comes in two battery capacities including 160Wh and 225Wh that offer 25 minutes and 40 minutes of continuous full speed use respectively. Each also features integrated front-facing LED light and action camera mount. Moreover, its outboard battery box offers 390Wh battery capacity that supports 65 minutes of continuous full speed of use, and it works as a power bank with a USB port for charging your mobile devices.
Price and shipment date
Bixpy Jet has been available for preorder via Indiegogo. Pledging $499 will let you own the water jet with a handheld battery for diving ($699 for the water jet with outboard battery box and an adapter). All kits will be shipped in March 2017.
