The Birdie is an innovate and creative aerodynamic accessory that works with GoPro Hero 3 and 4. When assembled, the action camera accessory measures 34 x 30 x 25cm. When disassembled, it’s only 25 x 14 x 5cm and weights 100g, and using an included carry bag, you can easily take the creative gadget with your GoPro anywhere you go.
The Birdie consists of a base with bumper and six arms joined together with a fabric strip. Using an included nut, you can firmly fix your action camera on the base, and the foam coverage in the bottom protects the GoPro from shocks when it falls from the sky. Meanwhile, the drag force caused by the funnel inspired appearance allows your action camera to have time to take photos or videos on the way to maximum altitude and on the way back down. The Birdie has been available for preorder via Indiegogo. You can pledge $35 to preorder the GoPro aerodynamic gadget. BTW, the designers behind Birdie is on their way to add support for other cameras and smartphones. It will be shipped in August this year.
