The RCK is a beautifully crafted, vintage mechanical keyboard that measures 12.9 x 5.6 x 1.7 inches and weighs 2.45 lbs. As we can see from the images, the keyboard shows off an eye-catching retro appearance design defined by the rounded keycaps with metallic accents, the metal frame forged from a solid piece of aluminum alloy and leather or wooden top panel, while the rivets and metal logo plate provide more aesthetic details.
The Bluetooth mechanical keyboard features a compact keyboard layout, and it comes equipped with Typelit mechanical switches by Kaith in order to deliver tactile and clicky feedback, and 6-key rollover ensures every keypress can be correctly registered for accurate typing. The LED backlight not only provides sleek light effect, but also allows you to type in low-light conditions. Built-in 5000mAh rechargeable battery offers approx 1 to 2 months of usage with the backlight on, and an extra USB port allows it to work as a wired keyboard. In addition, a custom palm rest perfectly matches the retro design language.
The RCM wireless mouse measures 4.5 x 2.6 x 1.3 inches and weighs 0.24 lbs. Using leather top cover, sand-blasted aluminum frame, hex bolts and aluminum wheel, the mouse perfectly complements to the retro aesthetics from the keyboard. Meanwhile, the ambidextrous ergonomic design allows it to fit for all users. Its PixArt PAW3805 sensor not only allows it to work on any surface including glass or other high-gloss materials, but also provide up to 3000 dpi. The built-in Bluetooth and included RF receiver ensure it supports various devices. Built-in 1000mAh rechargeable battery offers up to 4 months of usage on a single charge. The team behind RCK and RCM is raising fund for the products via Indiegogo. We can pledge $215 to preorder the complete bundle with the retro compact Bluetooth mechanical keyboard, leather wireless mouse and leather mouse pad. The bundle will be shipped in December 2018.
