Appearance design
The Arctic is a well-designed and easy-to-use coffee maker designed for those who want to make cold coffee at home. As we can see from the images, the coffee maker shows off an elegant and minimalistic design, and its portable profile and integrated handle let you place it in your fridge or take it out with ease.
The coffee maker consists of three main parts including a carafe with handle made of 100% borosilicate glass and a cylindrical Micron filter laser cut with tiny holes, 200 microns in diameter, and a stainless steel lid.
Function features
The Arctic coffee maker is incredibly easy to use. All you need to do is just add your favorite coffee grounds in the filter and submerge the grounds in cold or room-temperature water, then place the Arctic in your fridge to brew for 12-24 hours. Meanwhile, you can easily control your cold brewing by adding more coffee grounds, extending or reducing brewing time.
Moreover, you can use cold brew coffee as a base to make various cold and hot coffee beverages. In addition, the coffee maker has a capacity of 50.7 oz (1.5L) to hold enough cold brew for 1-2 weeks, and the stainless steel lid with silicone gasket keeps your coffee fresh for up to 2 weeks.
The crowdfunding campaign for the Arctic is ongoing on Kickstarter. You can pledge $44 to preorder the cold brew coffee maker. It will be shipped in March 2017. Update: Arctic has also been available for $29.99 on Amazon.
