You can find out many self-cleaning aquariums in the market, but you also want to grow plants, the following Aquaponics Garden fish tank should be more suitable for you.
Aquaponics Garden is an innovative fish tank designed by 2 recent college grads Nikhil and Alejandro. As we can see from the images, the fish tank consists of two parts including a middle-sized tank and a small-sized garden on the top of the fish tank. The fish tank has enough space for up to 4 small fishes, and using the air pump in the center, the fish tank can pump up the waste-water and upcycle it as organic fertilizer to grow the plants on the top, at the same time, the water gets cleaned up and falls back down for your fishes. All you need to do is to feed your fishes. Of course, also don’t forget to harvest your garden. Apart from that, Aquaponics Garden contains the fish tank, garden top, air pump, 5 pots with pebbles, organic seeds and fish food as well water conditioners.
At present, the two inventors are raising fund at Kickstarter. Pledging $50 will let own Aquaponics Garden fish tank. If you’re interested, jump to Kickstarter official site for more details.
To the editor,
I’m a GadgetSin reader and I also grow thing hydroponically, saw a recent article you had on a hydropoic system… well I wanted to introduce you to a system that’s going to revolutionize Hydroponic growing. The Hydropot (www.theamazinghydropot) is so totally different and feeds the plant’s roots oxygen while feeding the nutrients. It’s the only self-contained system that runs so efficiently that it can run on a small solar panel. They sell a solar kit (which I bought) that lets me grow off-the-grid.
They’re a new small start-up and is doing a Kickstarter launch… someone needs to check it out and help get them launched. I want to buy more but they’re not in full-on manufacturing yet.
