The new line of MacBook Pro contains three types of MacBook Pro with different sizes including 13-inch, 15-inch, and 17-inch, and features optional dual- core Intel i5 or i7 processor and quad-core Intel i7 processor. Each new MacBook Pro comes with 4GB RAM that can expend up to 8GB, and SATA HDD or SSD with the storage capacity of 128GB to 750GB. For the computer game fans, each 15-inch and 17-inch MacBook Pro feature new high-performance AMD Radeon graphics processor (AMD Radeon HD 6490M with 256MB GDDR5 or Radeon HD 6750M with 1GB GDDR5). Once running graphics-intensive applications, the MacBook Pro will automatically switch to AMD Radeon graphics processor.
Another most important feature on MacBook Pro, Intel’s latest Thunderbolt technology has been integrated in the new machine. The integrated Thunderbolt port can provide you an impressive transmission speed that is three times faster than the latest USB 3.0 standard. And through the existing adapters, the Thunderbolt port can also support DisplayPort, DVI, HDMI, and VGA displays.
Moreover, the new MacBook Pro also features new FaceTime HD camera for 720p HD videos, multi-touch track pad, WiFi, Bluetooth technology, two USB 2.0 ports (three for the 17-inch MacBook Pro), a FireWire 800 port, a new SDXC card slot on 13- and 15-inch MacBook Pro models that supports up to 64GB memory cards, and an ExpressCard/34 slot on the 17-inch MacBook Pro.
