Apple has released their first smart battery case for iPhone 6/6s. In addition to its integrated backup battery for extending the battery life of your iPhone, its built-in antenna prevents the handset’s signal from being affected by metallic components in the case.

The Apple official battery case works with all iPhone 6/6s models. As we can see from the images, similar with Apple iPhone 6s/6s Plus case, the smart battery case also shows off an elegant and stylish matte finish and it snugly wraps around the iPhone, which delivers an ultra slim and streamlined design. Unlike almost all battery cases on the market, the official iPhone 6s battery case features a snap-on and form-fitting design in order to fit best with the ultra-thin iPhone, and its soft elastomer hinge design lets you easily put the case on or take it off from your iPhone.

Apple hasn’t specified the battery capacity of the care, but your iPhone with the smart battery case offers up to 25 hours of talk time. Moreover, built-in antenna effectively prevent signal reduction caused by metallic components, and hybrid charging feature allows to charge your phone and the battery case simultaneously, and its battery status can be directly displayed on your iPhone Lock screen and in Notification Center, so you can conveniently check how much charge you have left.

Furthermore, with its durable exterior and soft microfiber lining, the iPhone 6 case protects your handset from bumps and scratches, and all iPhone buttons and ports are accessible including Lightning port.
