Apple finally announced their latest flagship smartphones – iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Which one is your favorite? Let’s go on checking the new features in the two highly anticipated smartphones.
As shown in the images, same as what we have seen in that leaked video, both iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus sports an ultra slim design along with rounded edges, protruding rear camera, and 2.5D glass protection screen. No doubt, ultra-slim unibody and curved screen will bring you incomparable grip and touch feeling, but it seems the lines on the back isn’t an ideal accent for a premium smartphone.
iPhone 6 measures 5.44 x 2.64 x 0.27 inches and weights 4.55 ounces, while iPhone 6 Plus measures 6.22 x 3.06 x 0.28 inches and weights 6.07 ounces. iPhone 6 features a 4.7-inch LED-backlit widescreen multitouch Retina display with IPS, 1334-by-750-pixel resolution at 326 ppi, while iPhone 6 Plus shows off a 5.5-inch LED-backlit widescreen multitouch Retina display with IPS and 1920-by-1080-pixel resolution at 401 ppi.
Moreover, both the iPhone 6 models feature A8 chip built on 64-bit desktop-class architecture, M8 motion coprocessor gathering data from advanced sensors and a new barometer, a new 8-megapixel iSight camera with 1.5m pixels, autofocus, f/2.2 aperture, TrueTone flash, five-element lens, BSI sensor, Sapphire crystal lens cover, while iPhone 6 Plus also has built-in optical image stabilization, and FaceTime camera with f/2.2 aperture, 720p HD video recording, Touch ID home button with fingerprint identity sensor that supports Apple Pay allowing you to pay with your iPhone for stores and in apps, and built-in NFC module. Apart from that, other features also include up to 20 LTE bands, up to 3x faster WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS & GLONASS. With the help of new A8 chip, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus also feature longer battery life. iPhone 6 can offer up to 14 hours of talk time on 3G, while the Plus model has up to 24 hours of 3G talk time on a full single charge.
