Amazon Fire HD 8 10 Tablets Packed with Rich Entertainment Content

Amazon has announced multiple new devices including four new tablets and new Fire TV. First, let’s keep going for Fire HD 8 and 10. With two large-screen tablets and their advantage of rich entertainment content, Amazon is trying to challenge Apple’s dominance in tablet industry.

As we can see from the images, Fire HD 8 and 10 have a similar ultra slim and lightweight design, but the former shows off four color options for different preferences. Fire HD 8 has a 8-inch display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution and 189 ppi, and the Fire HD 10 boasts a 10.1-inch display. Both tablets can bring you comfortable viewing experience, but the 8-inch version is easier to carry for portability.

The two Android tablets run Android-based Fire OS 5 that has packed with Amazon’s rich entertainment content including books, games, apps, videos, music, audiobooks and newsstand. Meanwhile, its new app store lets you access various games and apps without having to pay for them or in-app purchases. And using its Second-Screen feature, you can fling Amazon movies and TV shows from the tablet to your big-screen TV.

Moreover, Fire HD 8 and 10 share almost same hardware specs including 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB/16GB or 16GB/32GB ROM and integrated microSD card slot for up to 128GB in order to provide abundant storage capacity and smooth operation experience. And 720p front-facing camera and 5MP rear camera have been ready for video chatting, 1080p video recording and capturing stills. In addition, the built-in battery lasts up to 8 hours of usage between charges.
