Similar with levitating speakers 1-Ring’s Moon levitating smart home camera can also float above its custom base, but in addition to monitoring your home, it also delivers more intelligent features. Curious? Let’s continue checking.

1-Ring Moon Levitating Smart Home Camera

The Moon is an innovative and versatile smart home camera that consists of two parts including the camera and its base. The spherical camera measures 7.5cm in diameter, and its base measures 15 x 15 x 6cm. Unlike any smart home security camera on the market, the Moon has no integrated stand and included mounting tools. All we need to do is just place it on a flat surface such as your wall shelf, table and more.

Using magnetic levitating technology the smart home camera can float above its custom base, and it features a 5MP CMOS sensor and 130-degree wide angle lens with f/2.0 aperture, so it delivers a wide monitoring area for your room, and integrated IR LEDs are designed for night vision. It also supports 1080p video resolution at 30fps.

Furthermore, using built-in sensors the Moon always detects movement and noise, and it can automatically rotate towards it, taking a snapshot or responding in a redefined way. Built-in WiFi allows it to send notifications to your smartphone once detecting any movement and noise, and you can also use its custom app to check your room, directly control the camera or communicate with your family.

The team behind the Moon has successfully raised enough fund for the product via Indiegogo, but we can still preorder the levitating smart home camera by pledging $209 USD. It will be shipped in March 2018.
