ViewSonic recently unveiled its latest dual OS tablet: ViewPad 10pro. If you hesitates to select Google Android or Windows 7, the dual OS tablet may be suitable for you.
ViewSonic ViewPad 10pro measures 10.7 x 6.7 x 0.58 inches and weights 1.97 lb. Unlike most Android tablets and Windows tablets in the market, ViewPad 10pro features two operating systems, including Google Android 2.3 and Windows 7 Home Premium. Android 2.3 runs as an application on the top of Windows 7. Just tapping the Android icon will let you enjoy the apps for Google Android.
ViewPad 10pro is powered by Intel Oak Trail Atom Z670 1.5GHz processor, and comes with 2GB DDR2 RAM and 16GB/32GB SSD, while the integrated microSD card reader supports up to 32GB of storage capacity. The dual OS tablet also features a 10.1-inch capacitive multi-touch screen LCD with LED backlight with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution and 1.3-megapixel front facing webcam for video chat. The network connections and other interfaces include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 port, mini HDMI and 3.5mm audio jack. The 2 cell 5000mAh rechargeable battery will provide you up to 8 hours of use time.
ViewSonic ViewPad 10pro with 16GB SSD is priced at $599 USD, while the 32G version costs $699 USD. Both of them will be available later this month. If you’re interested, jump to ViewSonic official site for full details.
