The Ultraloq UL1 is a beautifully designed and advanced smart lock that fits any standard American door with a regular thickness. As we can see from the images, the smart lock shows off a sleek and minimalistic appearance design along with two optional finishes: satin nickel and black, so it’s able to blend well with various door styles. Meanwhile, just using only 5 screws, you can easily install the lock in five minutes.
The Ultraloq UL1 uses Bluetooth 4.0 to communicate with your smartphone, and built-in embedded hardware coprocessor encrypts the communication with 128-bit AES for security. Furthermore, using Dynamic Key, the smart lock provides a second layer of protection. Even if someone captured the AES encrypted data, the random key would prevent someone from unlocking your door.
The smart lock comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor that automatically read your fingerprint, unlocking your door when you place your finger on it. Of course, Bluetooth proximity detection allows you to simply shake your phi during while in connected range of 5m (16ft) to unlock your door. Moreover, Ultraloq UL1 also comes with multiple contactless key fobs. When the key fob closes to the lock, the door will instantly unlock. If you lose your key fob, you can easily delete it in its custom companion app.
Additionally, using optional Bridge, the Bluetooth smart lock also join in your local network, so you can easily grant access to guests and visitors via eKey for special dates and periods of time. Apart from these, the Ultraloq UL1 is powered by four AA batteries that offer more than one year of battery life. When battery life is low, you’ll get low battery alert via beeps, red LED flashing and notifications.
