The Smart Phone Case Features a Self-Activating Springs for Protection

Using built-in motion sensor and self-activating springs, the smart phone case protects your phone from every accidental drop. Cool? Let’s have a look.

The Smart Phone Case Features a Self-Activating Springs for Protection

Philip Frenzel, an engineer at Aalen University in Germany came up with the pretty cool concept, and the first prototype has become reality. As we can see from the images, it looks like a regular snap-on protective case to protect the phone from daily wear and tear, but in fact, something innovative has been built in the case. When the phone is in free fall, an integrated motion sensor will detect the motion and automatically activate four pairs of built-in springs during the fall, and the springs are able to fully prevent the phone from touching the ground for total protection. When you pick up the phone, you can easily fold the springs back into the case for next activation. Maybe the smart phone case will be available soon, but now let’s check the following images about it.
