I know you can play numerous mobile games on your smartphone or tablet, but as a senior gamer, the handmade handheld game console should be able to draw your more attention.
Love Hulten, a Swedish designer, craftsman and inventor created PE358, a well-crafted and workable handheld game console inspired by Game Boy Advance SP.
The handheld game console measures only 8 x 8 x 4cm. As we can see from the images, the PE358 shows off an exquisite wooden housing that sends out the feeling of retro style, and the walnut wood grain provides enhanced natural aesthetics. Moreover, its ingenious hinged design lets you easily put it in your bag and take it anywhere.
The handmade handheld game console is powered by a Raspberry Pi A+ mini computer and runs Nintendo emulator, so you can enjoy lots of classic GBA SP games. In addition, same as Game Boy Advance SP, PE358’s control system consists of a D-pad and two firing buttons.
According to the designer’s site, the handheld game console will be available in all probability. If you’re interested, jump to Love Hulten’s site for its more details. BTW, if you like DIY, you may like to check how to make a Raspberry Pi powered arcade cabinet.
