Appearance design

The SpeedX Unicorn is a high-performance and advanced smart road bike that comes in seven sizes for different cyclists. As we can see from the images, the smart bike shows off a low-profile, sleek and streamlined appearance, and its adjustable saddle and custom seat tube provide you a comfortable cycling experience.

Meanwhile, the smart bike is available in three models including Unicorn X, Unicorn Pro, and Unicorn. All three models feature hyper carbon frame and fork for an ultra durable and lightweight construction, and the Unicorn and Unicorn Pro come with carbon wheels.

Function features

As a smart bike, the SpeedX Unicorn comes equipped with an Android OS powered bike computer packed with many sensors including GPS, power, speed and cadence, barometer, compass, temperature and movement detector. A 2.2″ thicken glass touchscreen is arranged at the center of the handlebar, which clearly displays important cycling data even under direct sunlight, and its rechargeable battery offers over 20 hours of battery life between charges.

Furthermore, a custom wireless button can be placed anywhere on the smart bike, which allows you to switch screens of the bike computer with a press on the button. The smart bike also wirelessly connects with your iPhone or Android phone, and its custom app shows you detailed post-analysis for every ride.

Moreover, the road bike also features an integrated crank-based power meter that accurately tracks your wattage, and the metric can be shown via the display on the handlebar.

Price and shipment date

The crowdfunding campaign for SpeedX Unicorn is ongoing on Kickstarter. You can pledge $3299 to preorder the smart road bike. It will be shipped in April 2017.
