Space Invaders is not only the name of the classical arcade game. The invaders from outer space have landed in Girona, Spain through many balloons.

Don’t worry the invaders. In fact, it’s a series of street art called Space invARTders, which is inspired by the classical arcade game: Space Invaders. The creator is El Colmado, Quim Roqué and Helena Delgado. The pop culture sculpture is constructed of steel and PVC, and 1500 balloons are embedded in the holes on the frame. For the Street Art convention, these aliens had invaded constantly for three days.
