Sony has announced its latest Android phone – Sony Xperia ZR. If you’re interested, let’s go on checking what new features have been equipped in the waterproof smartphone.
Sony Xperia ZR is a 4.6-inch Android smartphone that measures 5.15 x 2.63 x 0.40 inches and weights 4.93 ounces. The smartphone is IP55 and IP58 compliant. This means you can keep it submerged in 1.5 meters of fresh water for up to 30 minutes, and using its dedicated camera you can shoot videos in full HD or snap pictures underwater.
Moreover, the waterproof phone runs on Google Android 4.1 Jelly Bean mobile operating system, and comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, a 4.6-inch TFT display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2, and a 13-megapixel rear fast-capture autofocus camera with Exmor RS, HDR and 16x digital zoom. Moreover, other specs also include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, NFC, stereo FM radio with RDS, GPS with A-GPS, and built-in 2330mAh rechargeable battery.
