Sony announced two smartphones at IFA 2016 including flagship Xperia XZ and premium Xperia X Compact. Using its 23MP rear camera, 5.2″ display, USB-C port and more features, the flagship should bring great performance experience.
Sony Xperia XZ is a large-screen flagship smartphone that runs Google Android M. The handset measures 146 x 72 x 8.1mm, weighs 161g, and as we can see from the images, Xperia XZ boasts a sleek, ultra slim appearance, and curved glass and rounded edges provide enhanced elegance and comfortable grip. Meanwhile, the back is made from high purity ALKALEIDO metal for durability and premium look, while multiple color options deliver personalized styling.
Sony Xperia XZ is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core processor and comes with 3GB RAM, 32GB/64GB internal storage and microSD card slot supporting up to 256GB, so it’s the ability to deal with various heavy-duty tasks and your growing photos and videos, and its 5.2″ 1080p full HD TRILUMINOS display features X-Reality for mobile picture engine and Dynamic Contrast Enhancement in order to deliver vivid, clear and sharp images.
The Android smartphone is equipped with a 23MP autofocus camera featuring triple sensing technology, 1/2.3″ Exmor RS for mobile image sensor, 24mm wide Sony G lens, BIONZ for mobile image-processing engine, 5-axis stabilization, so it brings you higher quality mobile photography, and it supports 4K video recording. Moreover, 13MP front-facing camera with 22mm wide angle lens and 1/3.06″ Exmor RS for mobile image sensor lets you capture sharper selfies even in low-light conditions.
In addition, other features also include USB-C port, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, DLNA, and 2900mAh rechargeable batter with Qnovo adaptive charging and quick charging, and water resistant design enables Xperia XZ to withstand the splashes that are a part of our everyday life.
