During MWC 2012, Sony announced two Android phones including Sony Xperia P and Xperia U. Now let’s go on checking the specs of fully featured Xperia P smartphone.
Sony Xperia P is a 4-inch Android phone that measures 122 x 59.5 x 10.5mm and weights 120g. The smartphone runs Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread mobile operating system with a promise to update to latest Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and features a 1GHz STE U8500 dual-core processor, 16GB flash internal storage, 4-inch Reality Display with Sony WhiteMagic technology and with 960 x 540 pixels resolution, and a 8-megapixel rear auto focus camera with unique fast capture, HD recording and Sony technology for 2D and 3D panoramic images. Other features also include HDMI and DLNA connectivity, NFC (Near Field Communications), Bluetooth, WiFi, and USB host. The supported network standards include UMTS HSPA 850/900/1900/2100 and GSM GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900.
Sony Xperia P Android phone will be available in three colors including silver, black and red, each one has an aluminum unibody. The Android phone will be launched in Q2 this year, but Sony hasn’t unveiled the price of Xperia P so far. We have to wait patiently for further info from Sony official site.
