Sony announced two new ultrabooks during Comptex Taipei this year including VAIO Pro 11/13 and VAIO Duo 13. If you want to easily transform a laptop into a tablet, VAIO Duo 13 hybrid ultrabook may be more suitable for you.
Sony VAIO Duo 13 is a high performance slider hybrid ultrabook that only measures 0.77 inches thin and just weights 2.93 lbs. The ultrabook is encased in carbon fiber for durable and lightweight construction, and comes with Intel Haswell Core i5 processor, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD, 13.3-inch 1080p touchscreen display, and 8-megapixel rear camera with Exmor RS sensor. Moreover, as a hybrid ultrabook Sony VAIO Duo 13 also features newly engineered Surf Slider design that allows for a quick and seamless transition between tablet and laptop modes. Apart from that, other specs also include a pressure-sensitive digitizer stylus, NFC, Bluetooth, ClearAudio+, 2x USB 3.0 ports, HDMI output, SD card reader and 6320mAh rechargeable battery.
