The Sony a7 III is a high-performance, well-rounded full-frame interchangeable lens mirrorless camera that measures 3.88 x 5 x 3 inches and weighs 1.44 lbs. as shown in the images, the camera looks a bit like Sony Alpha a9 on the appearance. The ergonomic grip with leather-like wrapper lets you comfortably hold it for shoots, and the magnetism alloy frame delivers a durable, stable yet lightweight construction, while weather-sealing design ensures you can use it in harsh weather conditions.
Sony a7 III comes equipped with a full-frame 24.2MP Exmor R CMOS sensor and BIONZ X image processor in order to deliver high-quality hi-res stills and video. Meanwhile, it features a wide native sensitivity range from ISO 100-51200 and supports 4K UHD video recording and up to 10fps continuous shooting.
The hybrid autofocus system comprises of 693 phase-detection points that cover approx 93% of the image area, 425 contrast AF points and reliable Eye-aF, so the combination provides quick and accurate autofocus and subject tracking performance. Furthermore, Sony a7 III also features a built-in 5-axis SteadyShot image stabilization system that effectively reduce camera shake during handheld shooting of stills and videos, and it always works well even for third-party lenses, adapters or lenses with optical stabilization.
Sony a7 III has a 3.0″ rear LCD monitor that tilts upward 107 degrees and downward 41 degrees, and an integrated touch panel provides you intuitive operation and focusing control. In addition, other features also include dual SD card slots, built-in WiFi and NFC.
