It’s not hard to see that Samsung’s designers adopted a classic style for their latest Gear S2, and from the images, the result is pretty amazing. The new smartwatch shows off a more stylish and sophisticated look than the sports band-like Gear S. And the smartwatch comes in two models: Gear S2 and Gear S2 classic.
Both the models feature a circular watch case and easy-to-change watch band, but the Gear S2 classic features a more timeless watch design, an elegant black finish and a matching genuine leather band for those who have a preference for traditional analog watches. And the Gear S2 boasts a more modern and minimalistic appearance with its smooth brushed aluminum watch case and silicone band.
Samsung Gear S2 utilizes Tizen based wearable platform, using Bluetooth 4.1 and WiFi, the smartwatch wirelessly connects with your smartphone, so you can stay connected with at-a-glance notifications to check calendars, emails, news, and more via its 1.2″ circular Super AMOLED display with 360 x 360 pixels resolution and 302 ppi pixel density, and you even can send texts directly from your wrist. It’s worth mentioning that the smart watch also has a 3G version with the first-ever e-SIM with voice capability that brings you more quick functions without needing to be closely connected with toys phone.
Moreover, multiple integrated sensors and heart rate monitor allows it to work as a fitness tracker that tracks your daily activity and encourage you to stay healthy and active.
