The PhoneDrone Ethos is an innovative and advanced flying drone that measures 10.5 x 9.1 x 2.2 inches and weights 12.3 oz. As shown in the images, the quadcopter boasts a portable, lightweight and rectangular body, and four propellers are respectively placed on the four corners of the main body, and each one looks like be connected with the body via a retractable arm.
Unlike almost all flying drones on the market, PhoneDrone Ethos needs to load your smartphone as the core of itself in order to utilize the smartphone’s sensors and camera. No double, the combination decreases the cost of drone and also allows you to enjoy the fun of flight by the autonomous drone.
The flying drone features a unique designed camera mirror. When you insert your smartphone in the drone, the mirror allows your phone to capture aerial photos or videos in three directions including straight down, forward or the side. Using you Apple Watch, another smartphone or tablet, you can remotely control the drone and watch live video.
Moreover, PhoneDrone Ethos comes equipped with an improved vibration isolated phone mount which not only prevents your phone from vibration in the air for high-quality aerial videos and photos, but also protect the handset from the damage from shocks. It can even hold your smartphone wrapped by a waterproof case for your great ideas over water.
In addition, the flying drone works with iPhone 6s/6s Plus to iPhone 4S, Galaxy S 2 and newer or similarly sized Android phones. And its built-in rechargeable battery lasts 15-20 minutes of flight time.
