Nintendo has announced New Nintendo 2DS XL, its latest handheld game console. Want to learn more about the new gaming device? Let’s continue checking.
The New Nintendo 2DS XL is a combination of Nintendo 3DS and 2DS. Unlike tablet-style Nintendo 2DS, the new gaming device follows 3DS’s folio-style appearance design, so the foldable design allows you to effortlessly put it in your bag or just slide it in your back pocket for east carrying. Meanwhile, ergonomic contours and portable form factor let you comfortably hold it in your hands, playing your favorite games whenever you want.
The New Nintendo 2DS XL looks like a 3DS XL without Naked-Eye 3D video image, so you can use it to play all 3DS games in 2D, and the upper screen is 82% bigger than the screens on Nintendo 2DS systems for a better gaming experience, and the lower touch screen provides intuitive controls.
The New 2DS XL comes equipped with a D-pad, a Circle pad, four firing buttons, and four shoulder buttons. The C stick provides subtle movement controls. Moreover, built-in NFC allows it to support amiibo figures and cards with compatible games.
The New Nintendo 2DS XL will be available for $149.99 USD on July 28. If you’re interested, jump to Nintendo official site for its more details.
