It’s really unbelievable that the traditional iPod nano rectangular shape has been replaced by almost square appearance measuring 1.48 x 1.61 inches, and comes with a 1.54 inches color TFT touch screen with 240-by-240 pixel resolution. Just as we see, almost all buttons have been removed from the body except Volume and Sleep/Wake buttons. It means that you have to operate your iPod nano 6 through that little touch screen.
The storage capacity of iPod nano 6 comes in two types: 8GB and 16GB. The supported audio formats include AAC, MP3, Audible, Apple Lossless, AIFF, and WAV. Same as iPod nano 5, nano 6 also has built-in FM radio with Live Pause function.
Apart from that, according to Apple, built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery can offer up to 24 hours of music playback after fully charged for about 3 hours. And iPod nano 6 comes with a pair of earphones featuring frequency response from 20Hz to 20,000Hz and a standard low impedance of 32 Ohms.
