In addition to Moto G 2015, Motorola also released two all-new mid-range smartphones – Moto X Play and Moto X Style. Both the smartphones have a 21MP rear camera, and advanced nano-costing technology makes them withstand splashes.
Moto X Play measures 2.9 x 5.8 x 0.35-0.43 inches and weights 5.96 oz. As shown in the images, the smartphone shows off a few similar design elements from Moto G 2015 including textured back cover, bright color schemes, and both Moto X Play and Moto X Style are customizable by changing the colors and accents using Moto Maker platform.
Moto X Play is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 1.7GHz octa-core processor and comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB/32GB ROM, 5.5″ 1080p Full HD 403ppi display, 5MP front-facing camera and 21MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1080p video recording.
Moto X Style sports higher performance with its 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 with hexa-core processor and 3GB RAM, and its 5.7″ 1440p 520ppi TFT LCD display provides you a better mobile viewing experience. Moreover, same as Moto X Play, it comes equipped with 16GB/32GB ROM with microSD card slot supporting up to 128GB, 5MP front camera and 21MP rear camera, but its rear camera supports 4K video recording.
In addition, the two smartphones run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and other same specs also include Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC, GPS and nano SIM card slot. The Moto X Play has a 3630mAh rechargeable battery that lasts up to 30 hours for mixed usage, while Moto X Style’s 3000mAh battery offers up to 24 hours of mixed usage.
