Appearance design
The Moikit Gene is an advanced, app-enabled smart water bottle designed to track your hydration. As we can see from the images, the smart bottle shows off an eye-catching minimalistic design and it comes in three semi-transparent color options to meet different senses of style.
Meanwhile, its smooth body and matte finished cap deliver you a comfortable grip experience. The water bottle is made from Tritan for a durable construction, and the material has been approved by US Food and Drug Administration. It will not release BPA and other harmful substances.
Intelligent features
Unlike regular sports bottles with one of two hydrating methods: sipping or through a straw, using its patented SmartStraw technology, the smart water bottle allows you to comfortably hydrate no matter you’re riding, jogging or working at home.
Furthermore, the smart bottle also features patented Zephair hydration monitoring that improves the measurement accuracy up to ±5ml and it eliminates all conventional electronic internals within the bottles.
Using its DPAT hydration tracking algorithms, the smart bottle calculates your body’s hydration needs based on your actual water intake, body weight, health condition and daily exercises. When your body needs hydration, the Gene will remind you, and its integrated LCD display shows you your hydration data. Additionally, built-in Bluetooth technology allows it to sync data to your smartphone, and you can check it via its custom app.
In addition, the water bottle is IPX6 waterproof, and its rechargeable battery offers 25 days of usage between charges.
Price and shipment date
The Moikit Gene has been available for preorder via Indiegogo. You can pledge $55 to preorder the smart sports water bottle. It will be shipped in February 2017.
