The guys from MegaBots announced their dual with Suidoubashi’s Kurata mecha last year. It seems their preparatory work is still in progress, and beating giant Mark II robot is the latest step.
To survive the upcoming duel between two giant robots, MegaBots decided to knock their latest Mark II, the $200,000, 6-ton, 15-foot tall combat robot to the ground. Of course, the pilot was replaced by a dummy in order to prevent deadly accidents, and engineers attached sensors on the unfortunate dummy, which can be used to collect data that shows how dangerous it is when a person sit in the mecha under attack from other heavy weapons. No doubt, based on the data, they need to make sure that the pilots won’t get hurt during combat. After the break, check out the following video.
