At MWC 2016 LG announced G5, an innovative abs advanced modular smartphone, and many optional modules have also been unveiled including LG CAM Plus, LG Hi-Fi Plus and more.
The G5 is a high performance Android smartphone that runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The flagship grade Android phone measures 149.4 x 73.9 x 7.7 inches, weights 5.61 oz, and as we can see from the images, the G5 has a sleek and stylish appearance, and many curved and smooth design elements not only make the handset more elegant, but also deliver a comfortable and firm grip. Meanwhile, the metal unibody provides an ultra strong construction.
The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and comes with 4GB RAM, 32GB ROM, a built-in microSD card slot supporting up to 200GB, so it has the ability to deal with multi tasking, demanding hardcore mobile games, HD video playback and more, and expandable storage capacity has been ready to store all your photos, songs and documents. Moreover, its 5.3-inch quad HD IPS Quantum display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution delivers clear and vivid images.
The G5 also features two cameras on the rear, one with a standard 78-degree lens and another with a 135-degree wide angle lens. Using the 16MP and 8MP cameras with f/1.8 aperture, laser autofocus,OIS and LED flash, the Android phone lets you capture awesome photos and videos. Moreover, other specs also include 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, fingerprint canner and removable 2800mAh rechargeable battery.
More importantly, as a modular smartphone, the G5 supports many dedicatedly designed modules, for instance, using LG CAM Plus, you can add physical buttons to the smartphone for power, shutter, record, zoom, LED indicator and comfortable grip, and built-in 1200mAh rechargeable battery gives longer shooting times, whilst LG Hi-Fi Plus with B&O Play adds high quality audio playback to the phone, and more companion devices will be released including LG 360 VR, LG 360 CAM, LG Rolling Bot, LG Tone Platinum, LG Smart Controller and more.
