Leica M10 digital rangefinder camera has been announced. With 24MP full-frame CMOS sensor and advanced processor, the premium camera delivers high-quality imaging, and built-in WiFi lets you more easily share your works.
Leica M10 is a well-crafted, premium rangefinder camera that measures 5.5 x 3.1 x 1.5 inches and weighs 1.45 lbs. As we can see from the images, the digital camera boasts Leica’s classic and iconic design, and meticulous detailing and symbolic red dot logo add much luxurious aesthetics to the magnesium alloy body. Meanwhile, more compact and lighter design delivers an excellent balance between comfortable grip and easy carrying.
Performance and features
Leica M10 rangefinder camera comes equipped with a dedicatedly developed 24MP full-frame CMOS sensor that’s paired with Leica Maestro-II image processor so it’s capable of delivering clear, sharp high-resolution imagery with a wide sensitivity range from ISO 100-50000. Using 2GB buffer, the camera also supports continuous shooting at 5fps for up to 40 consecutive frames in a burst.
In addition to a 3.0″ LCD monitor covered by Gorilla Glass, Leica M10 also features an enhanced combined system of rangefinder and viewfinder that delivers 30% enlarged view of field, 0.73x magnification, and the eye-relief distance has been increased by 50%.
Furthermore, Leica M10 delivers two convenient focusing methods: Focus Peaking and Live View. The first method highlights sharply focused edges as colored lines for precise manual focus adjustment. The second method has the ability to magnify the subject on the LCD monitor.
Moreover, built-in WiFi connectivity allows Leica M10 to wirelessly connect with your smartphone for easy image sharing and remote control. In addition, the rangefinder camera works with all M-mount lenses, and using optional R to M adapter, it also supports R-mount lenses.
