The Kevin is an innovative smart home security device roommate that measures 8.4 x 4.0 x 3.6 inches. As we can see from the images, the smart virtual roommate shows off a stylish and elegant appearance design. The gray fabric front panel allows it to blend well with a variety of interior decoration styles, and the compact form factor ensures you can easily place in any room of your house.

Kevin virtual roommate comes equipped with a 5W speaker, a 2200lm LED in warm white and an additional 900lm full color RGB in order to produce variable simulations of presence in the room using lights, shadows, effects and acoustics. Using a smart logic, the Kevin considers multiple factors such as location, language, weather, home type and much more. Moreover, it switches on automatically when sensing you’re leaving. Using two physical buttons you can simply control the smart virtual roommate. And built-in Bluetooth also allows you to control it with your smartphone.

The team behind the Kevin is raising fund for the product on Kickstarter. We can pledge CHF 249 (approx US$267) to preorder the smart virtual roommate. It will be shipped in December 2018.
