JBL has released Clip 2, the successor to last-year JBL Clip Plus. Using integrated carabiner and waterproof housing, JBL Clip 2 Bluetooth speaker lets you enjoy music during any outdoor activity.
The JBL Clip 2 is an ultra portable and waterproof speaker that measures 141 x 94 x 42mm and weights 184g. As we can see from the images, the wireless speaker sports a simple and compact appearance, and using an included upgraded carabiner, you can easily clip it to your backpack, belt or clothes to take on any adventure. Meanwhile, its IPX7 waterproof housing protects Clip 2 from rain or spills, and you can even submerge the waterproof speaker in water.
The portable speaker comes equipped with a 3W speaker drive. Using built-in Bluetooth technology, it streams music from your smartphone or tablet, and an extra audio input cable allows it to work with any music player with 3.5mm audio jack. Moreover, newly added wireless daisy chain allows you to wirelessly connect two Clip 2 speakers together for amplified sound, and its built-in microphone is designed to answer handsfree calls. Apart from these, its rechargeable battery offers up to 8 hours of playback time.
