Following various rumors about iPad 3, finally Apple unveiled its iPad 3 event on March 7 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco. No doubt, all secrets will be revealed by then, but now let’s go on checking how many rumored features have been mentioned so far.
As we can see from the image, there’s no Home button on the device. Apparently it is possible for upcoming iPad 3 running iOS 5.0 or later. Inside, iPad 3 may have an improved A5 processor: A5X dual-core processor, while the poor rear camera used on iPad 2 may be replaced by a 8-megapixel camera supporting high definition video recording, and the front-facing webcam may support HD video chat. Moreover, the upcoming iPad 3 is expected to use a Retina display with an eye-popping resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, because of the use of Retina display, iPad 3 may be approx 1mm thicker than iPad 2. Apart from that, iPad 3 may use 4G LET and improved battery. Of course, all these are rumors at present. How many can become reality? Let’s stay tuned.
