This is a beautifully designed and well-crafted charging station designed and made by FodCraft, a small handicraft studio from Yokohama. The docking station measures 5.7 x 2.9 x 0.9 inches (145 x 75 x 22mm), and as we can see from the images, it shows off an elegant and minimalistic appearance design defined by the smooth contours, slim body and zen-style color scheme. Meanwhile, the top of the dock features a beautiful felt finish built with Japanese traditional craft kimekomi for enhanced elegance.
The body of the Apple Watch and iPhone dock is 3D printed using plant-derived bioplastic for a durable and eco-friendly construction. The custom groove serves as an iPhone stand that keeps your phone with or without a slim protective case in portrait or landscape viewing mode during charging. Furthermore, a custom rounded holder is arranged on the front of the groove, which works with Apple Watch’s magnetic charger in order to charge your Apple Watch. In addition, the soft felt surface protects your devices from scratches during charging.
