Following GoSun Solar Dogger, GoSun has unveiled GoSun Go, its latest portable solar cooker. Using its compact design and advanced solar technology you can use it to cook meals or boil water during various outdoor activities.
The GoSun Go is a flexible and practical solar cooker that measures 14.17 x 3.37 x 7 inches and weighs 2.15 lbs. As we can see from the images, the solar powered cooker features a lightweight and compact design. The integrated zipper keeps the cooker closed for easy storage and transport, and the shock absorbing EVA foam exterior delivers a durable construction.
Using its unique compound-parabolic reflectors, a double-walled tube with a vacuum pulled inside the portable solar cooker is capable of cooking most meals in 20-30 minutes, and the 13.5 oz of inner capacity is also ideal for boiling water for brewing coffee or tea in 30 minutes.
Furthermore, its patented solar technology allows it to absorb a broad spectrum of radiation, which means it always works well in clouds. The solar vacuum tube keeps the heat in and cold out, so it’s always cool to touch safely, and the portable solar cooker is perfect for cooking on boats or during a fire ban.
The team behind GoSun Go has successfully raised enough fund for the product via Kickstarter. You can pledge $99 to preorder the portable solar cooker. It will be expected to be shipped in April 2018. Update: the cooker has been available on Amazon for $139.
