The Gemini PDA is an advanced and versatile hybrid that delivers the functions of laptop, smartphone and tablet. When folded, the mobile device measures 17.1 x 8.0 x 1.35cm and it weighs 400g. As we can see from the images, Gemini PDA shows off an ultra portable and lightweight design so you can effortlessly slide it into your pocket, and its wide clamshell delivers a durable construction to protect the screen and internal components.
The mobile device comes equipped with a 5.7″ QHD ultra-wide touchscreen with 2880 x 1440 pixels and 564 ppi for a comfortable mobile viewing experience. Furthermore, Gemini PDA also features a QWERT mechanical keyboard so you always get a tactile, fast and accurate typing experience wherever you’re.
Gemini PDA runs Android and Linux in order to provide numerous apps and games from Google Play and Linux based open source applications. Moreover, the mobile device is powered by a deca-core processor with ARM Mail 850MHz GPU and comes equipped with 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM and a microSD card slot so it’s capable of dealing with various apps, games, and your growing photos, videos and songs.
Additionally, the mobile device comes in two model: WiFi only and WiFi + 4G, so it works as a smartphone for communication. Apart from these, other features also include 5MP camera, stereo speakers, removable 8000mAh rechargeable battery, and two USB-C ports.
The crowdfunding campaign for Gemini PDA is ongoing via Indiegogo. You can pledge $349 to preorder the hybrid mobile device. It will be shipped in November 2017 if reaching its funding goal in one month.
