Foldable Solar Portable Lamp by Jesper Jonsson

We’re glad to see this wonderful design concept, but it’s a pity that the foldable solar portable lamp is still at the prototype stage.
Jesper Jonsson, a designer from Gothenburg, Sweden, came up with the unique portable lamp named Project Soul Cell. Although it features a retro-styled soft fabric shade, yet the lamp has a modern technology: It’s powered by solar energy. Same as many solar powered gadgets, through the top solar panel, the foldable lamp can store power in built-in rechargeable battery. Once you unfold its shade, the lamp will be lighted. And the attached strap allows you to hang the solar lamp anywhere.
The portable solar lamp is designed for various outdoor activities at night. Undoubtedly this is a very practical gadget. Unfortunately we have no idea whether the lamp will be on the market.
