August 16, 2011 | In: Green Gadgets, House Life

We have many ways to enjoy our favorite radio stations, but if you want an eco-friendly way, the card radio should be more suitable for you.

SUCK UK teamed up with designer Christopher McNicholl and produced Card Radio, an eco-friendly cardboard radio measuring 215 x 138 x 45mm and weights 0.416kg. As we can see from the images, the radio features simple and concise design, and all internals, including a 9W speaker are placed into a unique casing made of cardboard, while the external knobs and retractable aerial tells us it’s a FM radio instead of a recycled paper box. In addition to enjoying your favorite radio stations, the integrated 3.5mm audio jack also allows you to connect the cardboard radio with your iPhone, iPad, or other music player in order to enjoy your favorite music.
