Using simple and intuitive interface, Codeybot app-enabled robot teaches kids coding by programming a route, dance or adventure for him. Sounds cool? Let’s keep viewing.
The Codeybot is a fully customizable, app-controlled little robot that measures 163 x 127.7 x 79mm and weights 540g. As we can see from the images, the robot shows off a sleek, minimal, water-drop-shaped appearance, and its compact design allows you to play with the robot on the floor or desk. Meanwhile, its internal gyros always keep the bot upright and balanced.
The robot comes equipped with built-in WiFi connectivity that allows it to join in your local network, wirelessly communicating with your smartphone or tablet, so your kid can use a dedicatedly designed drag-and-drop visual programming app to program the robot like setting a route, designing an emotional pattern for the LED face, programming dance and more.
Moreover, its Codeybot app allows you to remotely control the robot with your mobile device, and an optional shoot laser add-on can be attached on the top of Codeybot in order to challenge your friends in battle mode. In addition, the little robot also works as a wireless speaker with two 2W speakers, and its rechargeable battery offers 2-3 hours of operative time between charges.
The crowdfunding campaign for Codeybot is ongoing on Kickstarter. You can pledge $149 to preorder the programmable robot with a docking station and laser add-on. The bundle will be shipped in August this year. BTW, also don’t miss Codie robotic toy and more related cool stuff by following tags.
