The Brixo is a set of innovative, app-enabled and pretty fun building blocks fully compatible with LEGO bricks. As we can see from the images, the Brixo comes in three main types of building blocks including 2×4, 1×4 and 2×2. All of them can perfectly work with your existing LEGO bricks, and you can also completely use the units and other Brixo building blocks to create your high-tech creations.
The 2×4 Brixo is a trigger block that comes in multiple models based on different sensors including Bluetooth sensor, proximity sensor, sound sensor and light sensor, which bring more interactions to your creations, for instance, you can wirelessly connect the model with your smartphone, remotely controlling it with the handset, or make it respond to sound or proximity. Meanwhile, its 2×2 motor and LED light blocks make your model light up, spin, move and more.

The crowdfunding campaign for Brixo is ongoing via Kickstarter. You can pledge $35 from $159 to preorder the electric building block set. All the sets will be shipped in October this year.
