In addition to iPhone X, Apple also announced iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus as an update of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Want to enjoy new A11 chip and wireless charging? Let’s keep checking.
Unlike regular performance update of previous iPhone models, the two models feature minor changes on the appearance design, so they’re named iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus instead of iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus. The usage of glass on the back not only delivers a charming visual effect and a durable layer, but also perfectly works with built-in Qi wireless charging technology. Meanwhile, three new glass finishes allow them to meet different personal styles, and the color-matched aluminum band complements the beauty of the glass back.
iPhone 8 and 8 Plus also feature redesigned stereo speakers that deliver up to 25% louder audio with deeper bass than their predecessor. Newly added wireless charging feature allow you to charge your iPhone 8/8 Plus with a Qi-enabled wireless charger.
Furthermore, there are new 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch Retina HD displays. Using True Tone technology and a wide color gamut, the new handsets deliver more brilliant and vibrant images. Using a larger and faster sensor, new color filter and optical stabilization, iPhone 8 lets you capture better photos and videos. The portrait mode on iPhone 8 Plus’s dual rear cameras allows for sharper foregrounds and naturally blurred backgrounds.
Same as iPhone X, iPhone 8/8 Plus is powered by A11 Bionic chip with a new three-core GPU in order to smoothly run various games, apps and multimedia content, and you can get a better augmented reality experience.
