Japanese Suidoubashi Juukou displayed their first rideable mecha robot in 2012. Now American MegaBots has entered the field. With their latest giant robot, MegaBots is trying to challenges Suidoubashi to a duel.
MegaBot Mark II is a fully functional, gasoline-powered piloted robot weighting 12,000 pounds, and driven by two pilots. About firepower, the giant robot can fire three-pound paint cannonballs at a speed of more than 120 miles per hour. Suidoubashi’s Kurata mecha robot weights 9,000 pounds and comes equipped with twin BB Gatling cannons with hyper advanced targeting system. The Japanese robot can be controlled by one pilot or remotely controlled. Which one has better odds? Let’s wait and see.
