Acer has announced its first fitness tracker – Liquid Leap, and the wristband will be bundled with Liquid Jade smartphone in selected markets. Curious? Let’s go on checking.
Acer Liquid Leap is the first wearable fitness tracker from Acer. As shown in the images, the wearable device sports a simple and elegant design along with multiple optional colors, and its lightweight design allows you to wear the smart band on your wrist comfortably. The Liquid Leap comes equipped with built-in sensors that can be used to track your fitness including steps, running distance, calories burned and sleep cycle, while in-built Bluetooth technology lets the fitness tracker wirelessly connect with your smartphone in order that you can receive incoming call and SMS notifications, and you can also access your music library and control playback on your smartphone.
Moreover, the bundled Liquid Jade is a 5-inch Android smartphone that runs Google Android 4.4 KitKat OS. The Android phone measures 7.5mm thin, and comes with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, 5-inch HD screen IPS display, and 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, apart from that, other specs also include WiFi, Bluetooth, 2100mAh rechargeable battery, and etc.
Acer Liquid Leap fitness tracker and Liquid Jade smartphone will start shipping from Q3 this year, but the pricing and more detailed specs haven’t been unveiled by Acer official site.
